Preventing workplace sexual harassment and discrimination

A promotional image for a workshop titled “for Migrant Women.” At the top are the logos of the Migrant Women Professional Network, the Australian Migrant Resource Centre (AMRC), and the Working Women’s Centre. Below, two women sit attentively at a table during an event, both wearing glasses and looking engaged. The setting is warm and welcoming, with other participants blurred in the background.

The Migrant Women Professional Network, in partnership with the Australian Migrant Resource Centre (AMRC), and the Working Women’s Centre SA invites migrant women to a free introductory workshop designed to empower them with practical knowledge about sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace.

In this session, we will discuss:

  • What workplace sexual harassment and discrimination look like
  • What steps you can take if you experience harassment or receive a disclosure
  • An overview of the Respect the Line Workshop: Preventing and Addressing Workplace Sexual Harassment

Join us to build your knowledge, strengthen your confidence, and connect with others in a safe and supportive space.

Light refreshments will be provided.

This event is designed exclusively for women, providing a safe and empowering space to connect and share experiences.

Please note:

If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket as early as possible. This will allow another migrant woman who is eager to attend the opportunity to participate. Free events often experience high no-show rates, and by releasing your ticket, you help ensure the event is accessible to those who truly need it.
