Launching Our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2025–2027

This week, our Centre marks an important milestone in our commitment to truth-telling, justice, cultural safety, and self-determination for First Peoples — the launch of our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2025–2027.
We thank Reconciliation Australia, Nicole Gollan from Nik&Co. Consultancy, Iteka Ukarla Sanderson-Bromley for the beautiful painting she created for our Centre, Ashum Owen for her Welcome to Country, and Katherine Vidulich of Wattlebush Catering for walking alongside us on this journey with care, knowledge, and cultural guidance.

One woman wears a black "Working Women's Centre" t-shirt, another wears a beige plaid blazer and holds a glass, and the third holds a copy of the Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2025–2027. All are smiling and seated in a well-lit indoor space.
Two women stand smiling in front of a colourful First Nations artwork displayed on a white wall. The artwork was created for the Working Women’s Centre SA's Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2025–2027. A printed plaque beside the painting provides context about the piece and its cultural significance.A person wearing a black "Working Women’s Centre South Australia" t-shirt holds a glass of sparkling wine and reads the Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan during the official launch event. In the background, an office space is set up with drinks, snacks, and an Aboriginal flag, marking the celebration of the RAP launch.
The Working Women’s Centre South Australia team stands together indoors, smiling and holding printed copies of a report. Behind them are a WWC SA banner and a vibrant piece of Aboriginal artwork.
The Working Women’s Centre SA commits to progressing reconciliation and justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
