Reclaim the Night is a global activist event that calls for the elimination of gendered violence, an end to victim-blaming, and for actions to build safe and just communities.
Let’s tell politicians and the community that:
Reclaim the Night is about taking over public space – we will be loud, proud, fabulous and fun on Kaurna Yarta.
We are anti-racist and for streets that are free of hate. We are powerfully trans and sex worker inclusive. Everyone is welcome. Women and gender diverse people, First Nations people, CALD people and people with disability to the front.
Hear from anti-violence and inclusion activists, worker organisers and survivors.
Short, accessible and powerful!
Songs, performance and taking up space in Rundle Mall – stay as long as you like, we will finish up by 8:45pm.
Reclaim the Night will be Auslan interpreted. Stay tuned for more announcements on speakers, Workshops and other activities!
In Adelaide/Kaurna Yarta, Reclaim the Night is organised by the Reclaim the Night Collective, a diverse group of activists, survivors and organisations.
The RTN Collective will meet regularly on Wednesday evenings, 5:30pm to 7pm, from August to October 2026 to organise the event.
To receive information and updates on our meetings and plans please register here to join the Collective.
All women and gender-diverse people are welcome to join the collective, including workers and students. There are many ways to help out! Our Collective is strictly trans and sex worker inclusive.
