Reclaim the Night is a global activist event that calls for the elimination of gendered violence, an end to victim-blaming, and for actions to build safe and just communities.
Held all over the world on the last Friday in October, Reclaim the Night is about taking over public space – we will be loud, proud, fabulous and fun on Kaurna Yarta.
We are anti-racist and for streets that are free of hate. We are powerfully trans and sex worker inclusive. Everyone is welcome. Women and gender diverse people, First Nations people, CALD people, and people with disability to the front.
Let’s tell politicians and the community that:
2026 rally and march
We start at Parliament House, North Tce, at 7pm
Hear from anti-violence and inclusion activists, worker organisers and survivors.
March via Hindley St, to Beehive Corner (King William St end of Rundle Mall)

Songs, performance and taking up space in Rundle Mall – stay as long as you like, we will finish up by 8:45pm.

In Adelaide/Kaurna Yarta, Reclaim the Night is organised by the Reclaim the Night Collective, a diverse group of activists, survivors and organisations.
The RTN Collective will meet regularly on Wednesday evenings, 5:30pm to 7pm, from August to October 2026 to organise the event.
