Be part of organising Reclaim the Night 2025

The Working Women’s Centre SA is bringing together a collective of activists to help organise Reclaim the Night 2025.

Reclaim the Night (RTN) is a global activist event that calls for the elimination of gendered violence and harassment, an end to victim-blaming, and for actions to build safe and just communities.

In 2025, the Reclaim the Night march and rally falls on Friday 31st October.

Let’s come together to:

Stop sexual harassment and violence – on the streets, in our homes and in our workplaces
Defend and uplift trans young people and their access to healthcare and community – everyone deserves safety, autonomy and freedom
Demand full decriminalisation of sex work – it’s time for change in South Australia
Stop silencing victim-survivors – our voices will be heard!

All women and gender-diverse people are welcome to join the collective, including workers and students. There are many ways to help out!

Our first meeting is on Monday 25th August from 5:30pm to 7pm at an accessible CBD venue. Please register to attend and we will provide you with the venue details and further info for the meeting. Can’t come to the first meeting? You can also register for info about future meetings and plans.

Our RTN collective is strictly trans inclusive and sex worker inclusive.
