The Working Women’s Centre are proud supporters of the decriminalisation of sex work in South Australia.

We join the World Health Organisation (WHO), Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, UNAIDS, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women (GAATW) in our support for decriminalisation.

As well as supporting South Australia’s local peer based education & safety organisation SIN & peak representative body Scarlet Alliance.

You can support the decriminalisation of sex work in South Australia by emailing your local member of parliament. Which can be easily done using this form to find your local MP & write your own letter, or use the template that has been provided.

On the 13th November the second reading of the bill to decriminalise sex work in SA will be discussed in the House of Assembly at 10.30am, which will be live streamed, you can watch via this link.
