Mahya Panahkhahi

Mahya is studying a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics at the University of Adelaide.  

She has a passion for helping people and striving towards gender equality, which has led to her volunteering at the WWC. She also deeply cares about equal rights for refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants. 

Mahya is the Vice President of the University of Adelaide’s Economics Club and a Committee Member on the Women in Economics Network SA. She also works as a Research Assistant and a Library Assistant at the University of Adelaide, and is a part-time Law Clerk, with a focus on Employment and Industrial Law. 

In her spare time, Mahya likes to read books, go hiking, and take care of her indoor plants.
