Maddie Thelning

Maddie is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies and Indigenous Knowledges at the University of Adelaide. She also works in the education sector, with a particular focus on the development of women’s professional leadership skills. 

With 10 years of prior experience in the hospitality industry, and lived experience as a LQBTQIA+ identifying person, Maddie is passionate about supporting and empowering those most vulnerable in our community, especially within the employment sector. 

Maddie is excited and eager to learn and develop her skills in the advocacy field. With the belief that advocacy and employment go hand in hand, she feels the Working Women’s Centre is the best place to do this.
