Employment law has undergone many changes in recent years. The laws can be confusing and expressed in language that is difficult to understand as a worker. Many women do not know where they stand at work.

WWC SA provides training sessions to women and organisations on topics such as:

  • Workers' Rights at Work
  • Enterprise Bargaining
  • Sexual Harassment
  • Discrimination
  • Workplace bullying
  • Pay Equity
  • Negotiating with Employers
  • The Federal Industrial Relations System

WWC SA targets women in vulnerable groups or precarious areas of employment for these sessions such as:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women
  • Women from non- English speaking and culturally diverse backgrounds
  • Women who have a disability
  • Women in regional, rural and remote areas
  • Women with family responsibilities
  • Women of mature age
  • Young women Women in low paid jobs
  • Women about to enter the workforce
  • Women on 457 visas
